Hawaii Data set
This cruise took place between Aug 31, 2009 and Sept 10, 2009, in the area south of the island of Hawaii. On this cruise we measured both the upwelling and downwelling spectral polarized radiance distribution, the downwelling sky spectral polarized radiance distribution, and the Aerosol optical depth. The aerosol optical depth is available through the NASA Aeronet MAN data set (links through aeronet.gsfc.nasa.gov) and will be available on this web page soon. The in-water radiance distribution data will be available through the link to the right on radiance distribution in the ocean.
The sky radiance distribution is available here and is listed by day, with a link to that days web page. Note that with the cruise in Hawaii there are two GMT dates for each local date. The earliest date is local.
With this link is a description of the data according to the cloud cover in the images. These are defined as:
Excellent =<2% cloud cover or no clouds
Good < 15% cloud cover
Average = 16-50% cloud cover
Bad >50% cloud cover
